WINTER OLYMPICS x APOLO OHNO x VOGUE

Big congratulations to Apolo Ohno for being the most decorated Winter Olympian ever!

Is it bad that he is one of the only reasons I watch Winter Olympics? That and maybe figure skating. I am such a estrogenic chick when it comes to sports

I was a moderate Michael Phelps fan during the Summer games and gymnastics kept me interested the other half of the time (I feel like this is the Summer equivalent to figure skating?).

Anyways, I absolutely loved this set of images Annie Leibovitz did for the April 2008 issue of Vogue. It features  Olympians and supermodels in their different elements; one set of photos being in the athlete's natural environment and the other involves a strategically placed backdrop to make it look like it's on set.

Are you watching the Winter Olympics? If so, what are you watching?

P.S. More Singapore posts to come, along with Bali!

Apolo is the reason why I got so into the Games.
